This initiative was started and coordinated by the then Association of Plastic Manufacturers in Europe (APME now Plastics Europe). The result was impressive. Today, millions of CP Pallets are manufactured and traded within Europe. There is also use of the various versions of the CP pallet in North America. CP pallets are made of wood. There are 5 sizes and 9 versions of CP pallets, CP1 – CP9. The CP pallet has now been adopted as the pallet of choice in other sectors besides the chemical sector.
